There are two methods to perform calibration on the Cpad
A. Using Cpad TP Calibration (simple method)
B. Using Putty (This is a advance method, please this method if your cPad far out of calibration )
A: Using Cpad TP Calibration
1. Reboot the CPad when you see a white screen Cartadis logo in about 1 minute 30 seconds followed by beep warning.
2. Progress bar will display, you will need to enter a code (called Z code) in order to access the configuration menu. The Z code is a finger touch in each corner of the cPad screen in this order: top left, top right, bottom left, bottom right.
3. Once you have successfully press each corner in the Z shape enter the password when prompted. The default password is 23468
4. Click on Application
5. Click on TP Calibration
To calibrate the touch panel use pen or similar instrument as shown below and touch each points as they are displayed on the Touch panel. The calibration screen will automatically close when all five points have been calibrated.
B: Calibration Using Putty (Use this method if you can’t enter Z menu configuration as shown in step A)
To calibrate your cpad if the touch screen is far out of calibration.
1: Download Putty which is open-source if you already don't have similar terminal.
Type in IP address of your cPad as shown and click Open
Login as: root
Type the following command to run
# source /etc/qt4-env “ Enter” (note: there is space in between source & / )
# ts_calibrate “Enter”
Once this two commands are send to the cpad you can walk to the capd and perform calibration.
Step 3: Touch screen cross hair to calibrate
Step 4: Exit the Putty and reboot the cpad.
